She’s been creating environments for people to connect and celebrate since 2006, when she started planning non-profit special events at the Shakespeare Festival St. Louis and then the Nine Network of Public Media. Most recently, she was responsible for opening and then creating weekly programming for the Cortex Commons, an outdoor park in the Cortex Innovation Community with the focus of bringing entrepreneurs out of their offices and connecting with each other. She has over 5 years professional experience working in the nonprofit sector in childcare and teaching, program management, communications and marketing, fundraising, and planning and executing special events. She has a passion for mission-driven work and is a proud St. Louisan dedicated to achieving policies and practices that ensure an economically thriving, creative, equitable and safe community. She has a Liberal Arts Education with a Bachelors in Fine Arts and Business Administration from Spring Hill College. Professional background: I am a Certified Public Accountant at a General Practitioner Firm. I serve as the Audit Manager and wear an additional hat as a Tax Senior during busy season. The firm works with all types of clients and industries, but I have developed expertise and specialization in the Accounting and Tax needs of Not for Profit organizations. I love helping Not for Profits with their financial records so that they can be good stewards of their donations and make the best decisions for their mission.

By night, I work as a freelance writer and social media marketer, helping my small business clients craft winning messages, blogs, and strategies.

Professional background: Cassidy is a proud graduate of the B.F.A. Acting program at Missouri State University. He currently serves as the Advancement Officer of Stewardship at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He manages the university's giving website, donor recognition and acknowledgement programs, and all stewardship events. Cassidy is also a professional actor and has worked with regional theaters including but not limited to The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Shakespeare Festival St. Louis, Metro Theater Company, New Jewish Theatre, Mustard Seed Theatre, Max & Louie Productions, Equally Represented Artists, West End Players Guild, and Civic Arts Company.

Professional background: My first job in the nonprofit sector was serving in AmeriCorps where I worked in Mayor Francis Slay's office on various initiatives promoting community service and volunteerism throughout the city. I then worked as the Membership Manager for Optimist International fro about 4 years. After finishing my Masters in Public Administration at SLU, I moved to my current position where I oversee all aspects of Habitat for Humanity St. Louis' volunteer program.
What is the background on your cell phone?: The background on my phone is beautiful Dubrovnik, Croatia! It's an amazing medieval city on the southern coast of Croatia. I traveled there a few years ago, and it was so beautiful, I can't bring myself to take it off my phone.

Professional background: Domonique currently works as the Recruitment, Placement and Preparation Coordinator with the InspireSTL program of Wyman Center Inc. Her role consists of helping St. Louis City middle school students and families access and prepare for rigorous high schools across the St. Louis region. Prior to this, Domonique led the design and implementation of InspireSTL's leadership development program as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer. She holds a Bachelor's degree in African American Studies with a minor in Spanish from Saint Louis University.

Job Title & Organization: Marketing Communications Specialist, National Council of the United States Society of St. Vincent de Paul
Professional background: I graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in Print and Internet Journalism and a minor in Spanish. After graduating, I spent time working for a local event planner here in St. Louis before moving to the National Council of the U.S. Society of St. Vincent de Paul in June of 2014. I started at SVdP as the Communications Administrative Associate and was recently promoted to Marketing Communications Specialist. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international organization that works to help those in need. I manage the National Council's social media accounts, produce and publish the Society's weekly e-newsletter, develop promotional items, assist in the production of a television show for the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN), handle media inquiries and work with the Marketing and Communications Director on a variety of other projects for the Society.
What is the background on your cell phone?: My favorite quote, "She believed she could, so she did." Seeing that quote every time I look at my phone reminds me that anything is possible through hard work, determination and perseverance!
